WWE Stars Defend Maxxine Dupri After Negative House Show Response
Several wrestlers come to the defence of Maxxine Dupri following horrendous live event reaction.
Following an extremely negative reaction to her at a recent WWE live event, several wrestlers have voiced their support for Maxxine Dupri.
As Maxxine made her way to the back after a match, she was heavily booed, told she sucks, and you can even hear some comments telling her to "never come back".
this poor girl is getting booed at a house show for trying to get better.. wrestling fans suck pic.twitter.com/2OlXoAufcT— dani☆ (@alluringbanks) February 28, 2024
From scanning through the X replies - which is always 'fun' - to that initial video, it would appear this happened following Maxxine's match against Nia Jax at the 17 February live event at the Oakland Arena, California.
With a cheerleading and dancing background, Maxxine was signed by WWE in 2021 and made her in-ring debut last July in a tag bout which saw her team with Chad Gable and Otis to take on the Viking Raiders and Valhalla. Since stepping between the ropes, the 26-year-old has had just 13 matches, 9 of which were televised.
Being so relatively new to the business, clearly anybody would need to get their reps in and get experience in front of a live crowd as they look to improve and hone their craft. For some of those in attendance in Oakland, though, they were less forgiving, and this has caused several wrestlers - from WWE and beyond - to voice their support for Maxxine.
I really wish that some of you got booed and ridiculed in the public eye while being new at your job. Learning and getting better is all apart of being human. Be better as humans. https://t.co/b3TsAXsRq8— RheaRipley_WWE (@RheaRipley_WWE) February 28, 2024

I see people keep dumping their hate on Maxxine as if shes crying on social media questioning people booing her.
She actually didn’t say anything. She got a rep in that maybe didn’t go well, then turned to give the fans a ✌?whether they cheered or booed.

Yes, there's the argument that people pay their money to attend a show and so have the right to react how they choose. But seriously, don't be an a**hole with that.
