Spoiler alert: Super ShowDown won't be "bigger than WrestleMania", and it won't be the most essential WWE show you'll watch all year.

If that's brazenly negative, then allow us to throw something else your way. WWE, pressured by fan and media scrutiny over their decision to continue promoting shows in the country, haven't even mentioned on TV that the event will take place in Saudi Arabia. It's just "Jeddah". Nothing more, nothing less, and that says a lot.

This is as house show as stadium biggies get, and that's true despite major matches like Goldberg vs. The Undertaker, Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon and Triple H vs. Randy Orton. So, if Super ShowDown is surplus to requirements, then why bother getting excited at all?

OK, enough negativity. Scrape past WWE's semi-ashamed promotion of the card and it's not that bad. We could still see some massive moments in Saudi, and this is an opportunity for one legend to prove that he has what it takes to work further box office busters against the regular roster.
