WWE Survivor Series 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
All over the place.
As expected, NXT won the weekend yet again.
In fairness, Survivor Series certainly wasn't as bad as it could've been, especially given the late-day changes to the card, but it was a wildly mixed bag of dull, inspired fare, underwhelming traditional elimination matches and a couple of good-to-great bouts.
WWE's usual bizarre booking was in full effect as ever, along with some distinctly goofy shenanigans which occasionally ruined the fun, to say nothing of a crowd that alternated between comatose and obnoxious.
As for the show's treatment of its "brand supremacy" narrative, short of it having an unexpected, spectacular payoff in the coming weeks, it really feels like a most pointless burial of Smackdown for no good reason.
If the two biggest matches on the card delivered more often than not, though, the Match of the Night award was stolen out of left-field, and once again serves as a reminder that fans shouldn't sleep on what's happening over at 205...
