A few individuals within WWE have reportedly been discussing the unlikelihood of the company hitting revenue projections in 2020 and that in itself may lead to cost cutting further down the line.

With WWE expecting to take a big financial hit this WrestleMania 36 weekend, some lower card talents now believe that the company may have no choice but to sever ties with them in the near future.

Multiple mid to upper card stars have reportedly been offered lucrative deals to stay with the company in recent times. However, the talents further down the pecking order have now realised that some difficult choices may have to be made due to what is unfolding all across the planet.

One current talent told Davis, 'I think guys know they can’t depend on AEW as their safety net because they are going through their issues with canceled shows. This will be tough for a lot of guys and for a lot of people in [the wrestling business] overall.'
