That's what WWE's creative team must be thinking after a post-SummerSlam slog during which they just wanted to put 2018 to bed and get to the sweet excitement WrestleMania season brings. They've done it, and TLC (this year's final pay-per-view) is in the bag. Was it worth it? Occasionally.

Sitting through WWE supershows without hitting the skip button can be a bit challenging these days. It's not the talent who are to blame for that, it's the needless glut of matches filling up each card and the endless video packages that, whilst slickly produced, aren't necessary. Add to that some seriously limited stories and TLC seldom held one's attention.

When it was good, it was thrilling, but when it wasn't, it was almost impossible to sit through. That won't matter to WWE's writers now the show is over with, admittedly; they've got some follow-up in waiting, a couple of new champs to book and the potential for a fresh coat of paint on Raw.
