A new "stay at home" order issued by the state of Florida could force WWE into rethinking their show production strategy after WrestleMania 36 this weekend.

Governor Ron DeSantis made the announcement last night. The order kicks in at midnight tonight and will run for a minimum of 30 days, depending on how things progress with the ongoing global situation.

WWE has continued filming content at the Performance Center and Full Sail University, both in the Orlando, FL area, throughout all this, though continuing would mean violating this new edict. Now, it looks like a full-on break could be on the cards:-

It's thought that promotion has already captured everything they needed for the Raw after WrestleMania last week. Withholding that content if they can't film new shows next week makes great sense, as there's little point in starting new storylines if they can't be followed-up for weeks (or even months).

With the decision to tape multiple shows at once last week, this is what WWE had been preparing for. Besides, with the situation worsening, this may just be the best all-round decision for a company looking to protect its employees and their families from a troubling crisis.
