WWE To Run Social Media "Background Checks" On New Talent

WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion Seth Rollins was off from WWE Live events this weekend as he was on holiday with his girlfriend Zahra Schreiber in the Dominican Republic. He is scheduled to return to the road today ahead of Monday night's WWE Raw episode from Baltimore. Rollins posted the below image to his Instagram account this weekend with the following message;

Former WWE NXT wrestler Schreiber of course is just one week removed from her WWE release because of years-old but controversial social media tweets that were unearthed last month. As a subsequence of that incident, it's been reported by F4Wonline that WWE will now run rigorous social media checks of any potential new recruits for the kind of material that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate.

It's said that the best advice for individuals hoping to get into the WWE is to remove any questionable posts from their social media accounts, including any overly sexually explicit or provocative photos from female talents.

What's ironic about this statement that most WWE divas currently with the company regularly post scantily clad images to social media which are then promoted proudly on WWE.com.
