Baron Corbin knows exactly what he's doing.

The WWE heel appeared on 'The Bump' with new manager JBL this week, and it wasn't long before both were attacking everything from independent wrestling to fans who believe those guys and gals deserve more praise than WWE's 'ready-made' workers.

Corbin said that driving long distances to shows in a crappy car, getting paid sh*t money and then repeating the trick isn't "something to brag about". He specifically singled out Johnny Gargano during his rant (which is no coincidence; Baron recently wrestled Gargano on Raw), and asked why guys like that receive special praise from the audience.

Going full-on heel 101, Corbin then said that members of the public know he's "somebody" just by looking at him. Meanwhile, he reckons regular folks look at workers like Gargano, Kevin Owens and AJ Styles as just like them.

In other words, they're the kind of chaps who hang around "the mall". Ouch!

Corbin has never been the kind of worker to shy away from heat on Twitter or other platforms, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that part of his current gimmick is bashing the indy circuit for a laugh. Still, it'll get people talking.
