WWE's Dakota Kai Wants To See This Person Added To Damage CTRL
"I think she would be such a great addition to Damage CTRL."
If Dakota Kai has her way, she'd love to see Alba Fyre added to the Damage CTRL stable at some point in the future.
Speaking on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin (via Wrestling Inc.), Kai detailed how the one-time NXT UK Women's Champion would be "such a good addition" to join herself, IYO SKY and Damage CTRL leader Bayley.
"She is so ruthless and reckless, and I've known her for a very long time. I think she would be such a great addition to Damage CTRL. She would bring a lot to us as a group, and help sort of evolve a little bit more and take that next step. I think she'd be awesome. We like to pick from all over the world; we're an internationally inclusive group."
As alluded to, Dakota Kai and Alba Fyre have plenty of previous, having faced off against one another five times over the past few years - the most recent of those outings seeing Fyre and the then-Io Shirai defeated Kai and Wendy Choo to win the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic this past March.
Having been released by WWE in April of this year, the Captain of Team Kick made her shock return at SummerSlam, joining forces with Bayley and IYO SKY to form what is now known as Damage CTRL.
While Kai is currently one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, the former Kay Lee Ray has her own chance to snag some gold at NXT Halloween Havoc next Saturday when she challenges Mandy Rose for the NXT Women's Title. Whether Alba Fyre ends up joining Damage CTRL obviously remains to be seen, but the hugely talented Scot is as main roster-ready as anyone in NXT right now.
