WWE's early clubhouse leader for Feud of the Year kicked off on Tuesday afternoon, as Lacey Evans beefed with rapper Cardi B on Twitter.

This came following Torrie Wilson dropping Cardi's name on the special Legends Night episode of Raw. Cardi tweeted about this afterwards, jokingly calling out Vince McMahon in the process, to which Evans responded:-

Of course, it'd be a miracle if Lacey wasn't working here. Cardi on the other hand? Not so much. The following has since been deleted...

Here's hoping that Lacey's interactions haven't accidentally tanked any opportunity WWE may have had to work with Cardi. While wrestling purists may scoff at the prospect, a huge global megastar with 16 million Twitter followers and around 38 million monthly streams on Spotify is somebody WWE could benefit from collaborating with, even on a one-off basis, as the promotion has been miles removed from the cultural zeitgeist for two decades now.

Evans is currently teaming with Peyton Royce on WWE Raw, with the duo scoring an unlikely victory over Women's Tag Team Champions Asuka and Charlotte Flair at Legends Night.
