According to a report from Squared Circle Sirens, Zeda has been released from her WWE developmental contract.

Zeda, real name Julia Ho, received a tryout with WWE in September 2016, and was offered a developmental contract last January. The Virginia native arrived at the Performance Centre alongside Kimber Lee, Ruby Riott, and Andrea. Of this group, only Riott remains.

After appearing sporadically at NXT live events, Zeda was announced as one of 32 entrants in last year's Mae Young Classic, where she suffered a first round defeat to eventual runner-up Shayna Baszler. Two subsequent appearances on TV followed before Zeda's WWE career came to a conclusion. Following the announcement of her release, Zeda tweeted out a Terminator GIF with a caption that read "I'll be back". Think most of us can figure out what that means.

WWE are in the midst of finalising the competitors for the second Mae Young Classic, which is set to tape from 7-8 August at Full Sail University. With this in mind, don't rule out the prospect of more cuts for WWE's female development talent as the company make room for potential signings.
