Arguably, the most dangerous superpower in comic books isn't the strength to move mountains, the speed to circle the world in an instant or the ability to fire detructive blasts of energy - it's the ability to control other characters' minds. If you are a telepath whose power is potent enough to influence the minds of others, you potentially have a plethora of dangerous superpowers at your disposal, thanks to the fact you can manipulate other powerful individuals in to doing your bidding. Imagine, if you will, that you are an evil telepath and you are being attacked by Superman and Green Lantern. You could control them in to fighting each other or, if Green Lantern's indomitable will was too powerful to overcome, you could control Superman into keeping Green Lantern at bay. Essentially, if you have telepathic powers, you will always have additional weapons in the form of nearby individuals, whether they be super-powered or otherwise.
