10. Doctor Psycho (DC)

First Appearance: Wonder Woman #5 Can you think of anything more terrifying than an evil telepathic dwarf who somewhat resembles a ventriloquist's dummy in some depictions? No? Nor can we - and that's exactly what Wonder Woman rogue Doctor Psycho is. The man who goes by the name Edgar Cizko has been portrayed with a number of backstories in DC history, but we'll be focusing on the most well-known post-crisis version here. He was recruited by Wonder Woman's arch-nemesis Circe thanks to his ability to enter people's minds and manipulate their dreams, in order to create disturbing dreams for the Amazon heroine's good friend Vanessa Kapatelis. The rather elaborate aim of this ploy (something very typical of comic book ploys) was to separate Wonder Woman from her closest allies in order to leave her isolated and vulnerable whilst making the widespread general public fear her fellow Amazons. What makes Doctor Psycho most dangerous is his insanity combined with his misogyny. He hates women and his twisted, powerful mind makes him a huge threat to them. The fact that he's a creepy little fellow just makes matters worse.
