10 Most Annoying Characters In Batman Movies

Not every villain needs to be a Joker knockoff.

Considering Batman€™s long and colourful history in the comics, it€™s no surprise that not every supporting character is a welcome addition to the fray. He€™s seen more than his fair share of annoying tagalongs, whiny love interests and cartoonish villains, many of whom weighed down the entire films around them as a result. Batman is a truly interesting character in that he can support so many different types of adaptations. Apologies to Adam West fans, but due to its age, deliberately campy tone and origins as a TV series, it's best for everyone if we just leave out the 1966 Batman film, lest the entire list be populated by its characters. That leaves the gothic stylings of Tim Burton, the over-the-top camp of Joel Schumacher and the gritty realism of Christopher Nolan. While we await to see what kind of take Zack Snyder has on the character, it€™s easy to point out how each of these different takes on Batman inspires a different kind of pest, all of them unwelcome in vastly different ways. Some of these characters were held to a tolerable amount of screen time, but some lasted the whole film. These are the characters that made you want to hit mute and question why anyone thought their inclusion would be a fun idea.
