For a film that some were expecting to be a flop, Guardians of the Galaxy hasnt done badly. And by not done badly, we mean taking in nearly $100 million in the first weekend. It holds the title of having the third biggest opening weekend of the year, just behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the highly critically acclaimed Transformers: Age of Extinction.
