12 Predictions For Marvel's Mystery Phase 3 Movies In 2020
Will this be the start of Phase 4?
For the second time since it was first announced, the slate for Marvel's Phase 3 has been revamped. First Spider-Man was slotted into 2017, and now Ant-Man And The Wasp will land almost exactly a year later, pushing Black Panther and Captain Marvel out of their initial slots. That sequel is one thing (and a very exciting one in itself), but even more intriguingly, Marvel also teased plans for three more mysteriously unnamed films to be released in 2020.
Whether they're officially part of Phase 3 (boosting the number of films to 14) or the start of Phase 4 remains to be seen, but either way, speculation has already kicked off over what plans Marvel have for new movies.
Inevitably, there will be some pretty loud clamour for Marvel to focus on more original movie adaptations rather than simply trotting out three sequels, but the reality is that they will likely do something of both. And that's an entirely welcome reality.
