5 Reasons To Be Excited For Jurassic World

With production on Jurassic World having wrapped earlier this week, we€™ve taken one more giant leap towards the film hitting theaters. By its release next June, the 14-year waiting period since the last sequel will finally end and audiences will get an answer as to whether or not the extended interlude was worth it. As only his second feature-length film, director Colin Trevorrow has a lot to prove, not just as a consistent director but as someone who can satisfyingly deliver on his promises as a seemingly genuine fan of the series. Trevorrow, an initially surprising choice to follow in the footsteps of Steven Spielberg and Joe Johnston, has spent a lot of time endearing himself to fans on Twitter and other media and it's hard not to believe -- or at the least, hope -- that maybe the series has found its way into the right hands. Though fans have no choice but to wait and see if Trevorrow can follow through in effectively bringing everything cohesively together and satiate years of anticipation, the film still has quite a bit going for it on all fronts even in the wake of its long-gestating, often rocky history since the release of Jurassic Park III and the love it or hate it nature people have with the previous sequels that can be seen in the comments section of any article written about the series across the Internet. So as the film heads into post-production and the days slowly crawl ever closer to the film€™s release, let's examine five reasons why it's hard not to look forward to Jurassic World.
