While those films listed above are great, they donʼt necessarily carry that undeniable level of awesome that €œThe Room€ has been able to muster and maintain for the last decade to a cult following of filmgoers. Debuting in 2003 and set in the gorgeous San Francisco, €œThe Room€ stars a jack of all trades Tommy Wiseau as everyday man Johnny, a banker who seemingly lives a perfect life with his €œfuture wife€ Lisa and his eccentric friends like Mark and Denny. It is when Mark and Lisa begin their discreet and intimate affair that Johnnyʼs life begins to crumble slowly around him that we see Johnnyʼs pain, which leads to the ultimate demise that brings closure to €œThe Room€ in its journey of the everyday man. While €œThe Room€ tries to bring out the passion of Tennessee Williams, it undoubtedly brings out all of the things that should not happen when making a film, and this is why I think €œThe Room€ is such a great movie.
