Batman V Superman: 10 Big Questions We Still Have No Answers For

Still not sure whether Marvel should be nervous or joyous.

After years of great Batman films and not-so-great Superman films, the producers decided that maybe they could kill two birds with one stone by lumping in Batman and Superman in one big superhero battle royale. And you know what? It worked. Fans are sold on the idea, the hype has been steadily growing, and all the detractors seem like they will at least watch the film out of spite. But with four or so months before the film is released, there are still many things about the film that remain unanswered. It's understandable that the filmmakers want to keep some of their cards close to their chest and fans will just have to patiently wait and see, but there are just some things that fans really want to know now. How will Batman stand a chance against Supes? Where does Wonder Woman fit into all of this? Will Lex Luthor shave off his luxurious blonde locks? So here are ten big questions about the highly-anticipated cinematic showdown between Batman and Superman that we still don't have complete answers for.

10. Where Does Alfred, Lois Lane, And The Daily Planet Crew Fit In The Film?

With a main cast consisting of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor, Cyborg, Aquaman and co. is there going to be room at all to properly showcase Alfred, Lois Lane, and the rest of the Daily Planet crew? If Spiderman 3 has taught us anything, it's that too many characters isn't always a good thing, and Batman V Superman seem to be toeing that line quite dangerously. Lois Lane and the Daily Planet crew weren't exactly the most compelling characters in Man Of Steel, and there seems to be very little room to really flesh out their characters and their roles in this film. So, basically, Miss Lane and her co-workers may be relegated to nothing more than characters who dump out exposition for the audience. Alfred probably has it the worse - this is his first appearance in the new DC universe, but his role will inevitably be just that of Batman's waking butler who happens to know everything about the bad guys. With such a talented supporting cast in Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, and Laurence Fishburne, it seems like their talents may be wasted yet again but hopefully that isn't the case. With superheroes needed all their screen time to do heroic stuff and engage in epic fights, it makes sense that the normal human characters are the ones who have to do the boring stuff like ensure the plot moves forward whilst giving out information whenever required.
