9. What Is Zods Body Being Used For?
After Man Of Steel's final act which saw Metropolis destroyed in a gratuitous display of destruction that would make Michael Bay blush, everything culminates in Supes killing Zod in order to save a few people who were inexplicably unable to dodge a couple of incredibly slow moving eye lasers. After that, Zod's corpse sort of goes AWOL until the trailer reveals that it is in the hands of some mysterious party. So who exactly has Zod's body and what are they going to use it for? The prevailing theory is that LexCorp are the ones in possession of Zod's corpse and that they did something incredibly shady in order to avoid military interference whilst retrieving it from the ruins of Metropolis. As for what a dead Kryptonian body could be used for, fans are pretty certain that regardless of whoever actually has Zod in their possession, they intend to cut him open and learn all they could about Superman and Kryptonians in general.
