Long before cameras started rolling on Zack Snyder's follow-up to Man Of Steel, fans have been theorising about what's in store for us in Round 2 of the DC Extended Universe. With millions of fans and only so much source material to draw inspiration from, inevitably some of those theories have already been proven correct in the footage we've seen so far. Kryptonite will be involved, and Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor seems to have a chunk of it, for example. And Bruce Wayne was present for the Battle of Metropolis at the end of Man Of Steel. Dozens of rumours still don't have definitive answers yet, like if Doomsday, Bizarro, or Metallo will be showing up, but there are plenty we can say with absolute certainty are 100% baloney, and these are high up there among them...
Honourable Mention: The Movie Will Be Split In Two
At the start of the year, a terrible fan-made image surfaced purporting to show that Batman v Superman would be divided into two. There were so many things wrong with this one, you couldn't even count them. The image 'announced' Dawn of Justice would be the second half of the movie, coming out in March 2016. And it would be preceded by 'Part I: Enter the Knight', due out on the 23rd of October this year. Obviously, that date has come and gone and there's been no Enter The Knight. Because obviously. Warner Bros wouldn't quietly divide the films into two and have one of them come out the week before Halloween, when basically no big-budget movie in at least the past twenty years has ever done well. If they were going to do it, they'd have set Part 2 for a year after Dawn of Justice and had three films out in 2017 instead of two. But they were never going to do it, because it was a ridiculous rumour any which way you looked at it.
