Love it or hate it, Man Of Steel made some serious cash at the box office, and though critics were split, as long as audiences are in seats a studio is going consider the film a financial success. With that in mind, a sequel was inevitable, especially knowing that DC is desperate to compete with Marvel for the team-up picture. Some would even say DC is jumping the gun a bit by taking the "everything but the kitchen sink" approach to the Man Of Steel sequel. More and more heroes are rumored to appear and it would seem, rather than build their stories one by one, DC is gunning straight for a Justice League film with the intention of spinning off from there.
