As the anticipation for the MCU Phase 3-ending Avengers: Endgame reaches fever pitch, a spoiler for Tony Stark's fate may have just arrived from an unlikely source: an Audi advert.

When the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame was unveiled back in December, it was followed not long after by an advert for the Audi e-Tron GT, featuring Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr. In the advert, Downey Jr confirmed that he'd be driving the car in Avengers 4, confirming that, despite his dire position in the trailer, he'd be making it back to Earth.

There were other suggestions, of course, such as him driving it in the past, but even then it wasn't the biggest spoiler. Of course Tony Stark doesn't die in space. Further information, however, might've just spoiled HOW he gets out of his predicament. While the most prevalent theories were of either Captain Marvel or Pepper Potts rescuing him, another suggested it might be Rocket Raccoon, who was conspicuous by his absence in the trailer.

Well, Audi have issued a press release (h/t Quattro Daily) about another aspect of their partnership with Marvel: a new virtual reality experience for the back of the e-Tron, set to be unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show 2019. The experience is called Marvel’s Avengers: Rocket’s Rescue Run, and puts users in the passenger seat of Rocket's spaceship, navigating through an asteroid field.

There aren't too many characters in need of rescuing, which would suggest that the person you're saving on Rocket's Rescue Run is indeed Tony Stark. That might not even be his intention, but since Stark is on the Guardians' ship, he'd find him anyway.

Does this mean Rocket will rescue Stark in Avengers: Endgame? The idea has to have come from somewhere, but there's always the chance is this a harmless (or deliberately misleading) marketing tie-in for the movie.

What do you think? Will Rocket save Tony Stark, or is this just a commercial tie-in? Let us know down in the comments.
