Back in April, we reported that Big Momma's House helmer Raja Gosnell was hired by Disney to direct the CGI talking animals movie (like we haven't had enough of those recently) South of the Border. Now comes word from The Hollywood Reporter that Drew Barrymore will lend her voice to the film as the lead character of Chloe. "South" chronicles the adventures of a pampered Beverly Hills chihuahua named Chloe (Barrymore) accustomed to riding in a purse. While on vacation in Mexico, she gets lost and must rely on her friends to help her get back home. Some more voices you will be hearing if for some insane reason you want to see this movie... Andy Garcia as a German Shepard who is kicked off the police force because he lost his sense of smell. Salma Hayek as a spirit guide to Drew Barrymore's Chloe. George Lopez as a macho romantic who will do anything for the love of Chloe. Piper Perabo as Chloe's human owner who searches for her missing pet. Sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick, sick and sick of talking CGI animal movies. Stop the madness! Find another type of character you can use for your animated movies.
