Raja Gosnell goes South of the Border

raja-gosnell.jpg director Raja Gosnell has been hired by Disney to direct the talking animals movie South of the Border. More info from The Hollywood Reporter...
A live-action movie in which the animals will talk, "South" chronicles the adventures of Chloe, a pampered Beverly Hills Chihuahua accustomed to riding in a purse. While on a vacation in Mexico, she gets lost and must rely on her friends to help her get back home.
I can't tell you how sick I am of talking animal movies, whether it's live action or CGI. They are really over-saturating the market these days, and I don't know if it was like this when I was a kid, but the poor parents who are having to sit through all this crap family stuff in the cinema these days... I feel sorry for them. I really do. Where's Jurassic Park? Where's The Mask? Where's Toy Story? source - the hollywood reporter
