Every 2018 Comic Book Movie Ranked Worst To Best

As well as Avengers: Infinity War, there were TWENTY ONE other comic book movies this year!!!

It's usually about this time of year that people start to reflect once more on how inevitable it is that the comic book movie bubble is going to burst soon. It's been that way for years now, to be honest, and the impressive reality is that our appetites for this sort of movie experience simply aren't subsiding, even with a fair few awful releases under the umbrella every year.

This year saw another big haul of movies adapted from comics and graphic novels and while most attention will inevitably turn towards the ones that might win Oscars early in 2019 (and that statement isn't as outrageous as it might have once been), the spectrum was broad enough to cater to lots of different audiences.

Believe it or not, there were 22 of them released this year. And it's fair to say that not all of them were up there with what Warner Bros, Fox, Sony and Marvel made...

22. The Steam Engines Of Oz

Despite a great voice cast including Ron Perlman and William Shatner and the intriguing premise of a steam-punk Wizard Of Oz, this straight-to-video animation isn't a memorable addition to the genre.

Based on a graphic novel of the same name, it can't really get around its sub-par animation quality (which is usually forgivable when the story is enough to distract) or the limits of the story and there's good reason you've probably not seen it. Or heard of it.
