I was and still am a massive fan of Sam Raimis original Evil Dead series. As a child of the late eighties/early nineties, you could say they were part of my initiation into horror (Nightmare on Elm Street 3 was actually, I remember it as clear as day, but Evil Dead followed shortly after). So you might think Id be immediately sceptical about the new Evil Dead remake. And in truth, I was. Until last night. After seeing the original teaser trailer, I wasnt fully sold. There really wasnt enough in the first promo to make an educated prediction so I fell back on my prior belief that all remakes are terrible, even if the original creators are involved. Then, I say the new red band trailer, which debuted on IGN extremely recently. And it blew my f***ing mind out the back of my head. For those of you who havent yet caught this brand new red band trailer, check it out here. But be warned, it really is filthy in so many ways.
