8 New Actors Who Can Save Marvel Phase 3

Nevermind the world, it's the MCU that needs a hero.

With the release of Ant-Man, Marvel's Phase two is in the books. It raked in billions of dollars and introduced a bunch of awesome characters and story-lines. However the cracks are starting to show. The formula is getting a bit old and the entire Marvel cinematic universe is starting to feel stale. In Phase 1 Marvel averaged an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 68% on Metacritic. Phase 2 saw both of those numbers dip. And other than Captain America, all Phase 2 sequels scored lower than their original films. In fact, the only thing keeping Phase 2 afloat were the new franchises (especially Guardians of the Galaxy). In order for Phase Three to be as successful as its predators it needs some new blood. That's where these guys come in. Marvel has several established heroes that have been the foundation for the entire series. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk. But other than the Hulk we've already seen a lot of what they have to offer. Any new instalments would be the third film in their series-fourth for Iron Man. Audiences can't want to see the same movie that many times. That's why Phase Three needs something new, something exciting. That jolt of energy can come from anywhere. There are plenty of actors from the first two phases that are perfectly capable of stepping it up for Phase Three and there are plenty of new castings that could provide even more.
