Can't help but feel a little sorry for Brandon Routh. The 31 year old, who by 2011 probably expected to be preparing for this third role as The Man of Steel, is through no fault of his own, resigned to promoting a movie nobody is going to see whilst Henry Cavill - a younger man he beat in the Superman audition stages in 2004, gears up to star in Zack Snyder's reboot. Routh's film in question is the upcoming mystery thriller Dylan Dog: Dead of Night which hits theaters in the U.S. on April 29th and ten new images of the film have been released online this week...An adaptation of the Italian written comic book, the film transposes the detectives home of London to New Orleans, and as these recently released pictures demonstrate, much of the stylised aesthetic has been retained by the man who managed to successfully launch the Ninja Turtles franchise, director Kevin Munroe. In addition to Routh, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night will feature Sam Huntington (another thesp from Superman Returns), Taye Diggs (Private Practice) and Anita Briem (Journey to the Centre of the Earth) and will also feature a cameo by former Olympic winning wrestler, Kurt Angle. Here are a handful of the new images from the Platinum Studio's movie, the rest you can find from Collider;
