J.J. Abrams said the Final Trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was going to be last thing we saw before sitting down to see the movie in December. Heck, it was called the Final Trailer - there's little room for leeway. But clearly that's not the case - earlier today the International Trailer for Episode VII dropped online, bringing with it a lot more new footage. The trailer itself isn't quite as spine-tingling as the amazing Final Trailer, probably because it's relying a little less on nostalgia and more on selling the movie on its own merits (not a bad thing), and much of what it shows is expanding what we already know, rather than giving lots of new information (definitely not a bad thing). There's obviously still no Luke, although that shouldn't be much of a surprise - by now it's clear we won't see him until the movie's released - and bar some delicious hints that may or may not confirm some fan theories, it's rather spoiler-free. But that doesn't mean there's still not a lot to learn. Give the trailer a watch below and then come along as we breakdown the trailer we never thought we'd get.
22. Star Destroyer Exhaust
Like the last couple of trailers, we open looking at some of the wreckage of the Battle of Jakku. Here we see someone (pretty much certainly Rey) standing at the underneath an exhaust of the Star Destroyer she goes scavenging in. What she's doing, however, is a different question. She could be prepping a rope, tying into what we saw in the Final Trailer, but that's not for definite. Surreal, that's for sure.
