21. Jakku Sunset

After the same introduction from the final trailer ("Who are you?" "I'm no one") we get this beautiful shot of the Jakku sunset. It's obviously calling back to that none-more-iconic moment from the original movie where Luke surveys Tatooine, but is made distinct thanks to Jakku-specific trappings; the various people populating the mid-ground make the planet feel a lot more bustling than its original counterpart. I'm very curious to see the reasoning behind making the desert landscape a distinct planet - if we're going for the "rhyming" style of Star Wars, why not use Tatooine like Episodes I and IV. I'm sure the film will have an explanation, but there's nothing in that regard here.
