Terminator Genisys: 10 Questions It Failed To Answer

Number one: Why is the title spelt that way?

Over 30 years on from the original movie, and six years after the last attempt to kick-start the franchise once more, Terminator Genisys has arrived in movie theatres to try and remind fans why they fell in love with the series in the first place.

To say that it doesn€™t quite manage that would be an understatement, as it unfortunately falls in line with what we€™ve come to expect from the franchise in the last decade. That is to say, it has the Terminator name, and Arnie is even in it, but in terms of quality it is much closer to Rise Of The Machines and Salvation than it is the first two films.

Fans were wary from the start, because after two failed sequels it really didn€™t seem like there was anywhere to go with Terminator, and making another one seemed like little more than a quick cash-grab. Nothing since the announcement has done much to dispel that notion, with some poor casting choices and a very messy plot it appears nobody bothered to logic check.

Because of this issue, there€™s a lot going on in the film that doesn€™t make a whole lot of sense when it€™s happening, and isn€™t cleared up by the end either. You€™ll probably be leaving the cinema with more questions than answers - although in part that€™s because it gave so many answers in the trailer - and here€™s a look at some of the biggest that it failed to address.
