10. Helen Mirren's Cameo

Universal

Helen Mirren's presence in the film was largely downplayed ahead of release, but she steals the two scenes she shows up in, playing Magdalene Shaw, mother of Deckard and Owen.

In the first scene, she's approached by Dom in a bar, with a proposition to help her see Owen again (who is detained at a government black site), and during a flashback later on, we see her in an ambulance with Deckard, hilariously employing some crocodile tears to get sympathy out of him.

Mirren absolutely knocks her role out of the park, and fingers crossed she shows up in the ninth movie in a more hands-on role. She wants to get behind the wheel, so just let her, dammit.
