Today saw the release of the trailer for The World's End, the third film in Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy" after Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz. The first two films have catapulted Pegg and Wright into Hollywood A-Lists, with Pegg a mainstay in the Star Trek and Mission Impossible franchises and Wright soon to take on Ant-Man set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But these two have reunited once more for their tale of 5 friends reliving their youth, and the epic pub crawl that never was. The trailer certainly whets the appetites for fans everywhere (of which I definitely include myself) and reveals a first look at this apocalyptic tale set in rural England.... Here are 5 things we learned from the trailer, and 5 reasons to be excited for a film destined to be endlessly quotable.
