Wonder Woman Joins Man's War In New Promo Images

Plus a big hint of Steve Trevor being an undercover military agent...

Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con issue is basically a treasure trove dedicated to the most exciting upcoming movies. And as part of the special issue, which hits shelves today, they've unleashed a number of new Wonder Woman images showing off new looks at Gal Gadot's Diana Prince in her iconic armour.

As well as showing her reaching for her sword ready to unleash some pointy Amazonian justice, there's a shot of Gadot on set with director Patty Jenkins, against a background that appears to be a World War I battlefield. The artillery cart wheel certainly seems to fit that image...

There's also a shot of Diana Prince alongside Chris Pine's Steve Trevor in a break between fighting. Strangely, Trevor appears to be wearing Imperial German uniform rather than the more earthy green coloured British uniform. Is he a member of an infiltration force within the German army?

And while the fur lining on his hood might make you think of American or British RAF bomber jackets, it is in fact very much a German military parka that was in common use during the first world war. So there's secondary confirmation.

And finally, there's a classic shot of Wonder Woman with her arms crossed ready for battle, this time apparently still on her own shores (judging by the background).
