X-Men: Apocalypse Post-Credits Scene Teased
Will we get mention of Mister Sinister?
Though it wasn't shown to the critics who proceeded to tear the film down with apathy, X-Men:Apocalypse will have a post-credits stinger fro fans who like to sit and appreciate who did the catering and what a Best Boy is.
And according to SimonKinberg, it will follow the trend established inDays Of Future Past of setting up the next big event in the X-Men film universe. He spoke to Colliderto tease what we might be able to expect from the stinger:
"Its a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies.I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but theres also another character thats introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie."
So, presumably the stinger itself is going to feature either Patrick Stewart's Professor X or Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, but will also mention a looming threat/at least the existence of another character who ties together multiple X-Men strands.
Sound like Mister Sinister to anyone else?
The villain was actually quite heavily rumoured to appear inApocalypse well before the big bad's Four Horsemen were confirmed, and he would be the kind of threat who could follow the God-like character. He'd also add some variation, rather than simply following the reverse Russian doll trend of introducing increasingly large threats.
And who could be more ideal to play him than Bryan Cranston - who has expressed his desire to do just that in the past.
We'll just have to wait and see, but be sure to weigh in with your theories in the usual pla
