Although pretty much every year of the generation so far has been the PS4's year, 2018 is shaping up to be a defining moment in the console's lifecycle. Because, despite getting off to a slow start in terms of exclusive games in 2013, Sony's upcoming slate is absolutely stacked, not only boasting a solid roadmap of releases that could see them through to the end of the generation, but also lining up a wide range of hotly-anticipated titles to drop over the next 12 months.

With Microsoft struggling to put even a handful of exclusives together - despite recently launching the Xbox One X - 2018 is Sony's year for the taking, and these are the games the publisher is betting the house on to keep them on top going into the future.
