10 Perfect Ways To Make The Witcher 4
Make Ciri the main character. Done.
Although The Witcher 3 has become one of the biggest hits of the current generation, sadly the likelihood of another instalment any time soon seems mighty slim. The studio have instead turned their attention to the admittedly intriguing Cyberpunk 2077, as well as a yet unnamed RPG between 2017 and 2021, and have advised that their ideas for Geralt and friends are all but exhausted at the moment.
Still, we can take solace in the fact that there's always a slim chance of a return with such a fanbase as huge as this, and even members of CD Projekt RED are reluctant to put the final nails in its coffin. The Witcher 3 was an exceptional game, but it didn't quite reach perfection.
With such a solid foundation to build on, a future instalment could certainly hope to do just that. Yes, it may make me a glutton for punishment to think on what another Witcher would even look like at this point in time, but heck; let's go ahead and do it anyway!
Here are 10 ways that The Witcher 4 could be perfected...

10. Match The Size Of Wild Hunt, Rather Than Try To Go Bigger
One of the most impressive things about CD Projekt Red's creation in The Witcher 3 was just how massive and vibrant its world was. Comprising of diverse regions like Novigrad and Skellige, there was a perfect blend of tremendous scale and variety for players looking for an adventure in exploration.
Given how well Toussaint was received when the huge new landmass was added with the Blood & Wine expansion, it's obvious that this is a developer with a flair for fantastic world-building. Taking the formula forward with The Witcher 4 would provide the opportunity and temptation to try and expand, but that could be a dangerous idea.
Even after more than forty hours of exploration with Wild Hunt alone, the game's open world still holds hundreds of secrets for players to uncover. The game is perfectly sized to entice players into traversing, without ever being so big that it becomes barren or sparsely-populated.
If The Witcher 4 does become a reality, a bigger map wouldn't even be needed if the scope and scale of the world in Wild Hunt can be successfully recreated.
