10 Perfect Ways To Make The Witcher 4
9. Widen Character Models To Avoid So Much NPC Repetition
On the subject of Wild Hunt's wonderful world, one thing that could use a bit of a tune up would be the population itself. There was absolutely no problem with the way even the larger towns and cities were populated, and the number of people on the streets and in the taverns felt realistic throughout the experience.
What was a little less successful, however, was the regularity with which identical NPC models would make repeat appearances within small spaces. Many were the times where I took Geralt jogging through the market at Novigrad, only to find that I was passing the same merchant or pedestrian over and over again.
It's a pretty small complaint, of course, but when a game is so close to being truly perfect these small details can make a world of difference. A few more hairstyles, some extra peasant outfits and maybe even a unique limp or two would expand the populous of the game's world and make for an even more diverse and engaging environment.
