As much as youll never want to admit it, the hype in the run up to a games release is often much more enjoyable than the actual title itself. As you get wrapped up in the marketing for a game - potentially for years before it actually comes out - its real easy to get blinded by it; too enamoured to notice obvious warning signs that the new release youre looking forward to might not end up being as flawless as you want it to be. Many gamers are guilty of doing this very thing time and time again. In fact, personally Ive already thrown down money for upcoming games that I impulsively pre-ordered in an excited haze, only for sanity to come rushing back and the realisation they're probably going to disappoint me at release being an everlasting thought. Because as much as we try to ignore even the most obvious problems, the most hyped video games of the year have plenty of reasons why they could fail. Everyone knows that a single critical flaw can bring down a whole experience, and these titles have potential problems so large that, if worst comes to worst, they could absolutely ruin any gamer's respective enjoyment. So of course, while I hope I'm completely wrong about just about every entry on this list, its about time we sat down and set realistic expectations about the games were most looking forward to for the rest of 2015.
