In the eternal quest for dominance in the console market, it looked like Sony had secured a swift victory over Microsoft even back in 2013, thanks entirely to the latter's catastrophic blunder that was the Xbox One E3 reveal.

Sony has enjoyed a comfortable lead ever since, perhaps becoming a little bit too complacent when it came to offering must-have exclusives. Now that the Xbox One has started to bounce back with some of its own system-sellers though, the competition is really starting to heat up.

With the Xbox One now a serious competitor for the PlayStation 4, Sony has responded in spectacular fashion by forging its own line-up of lucrative titles.

Second Son vastly improved upon its forebears in every department, offering superb visuals (undoubtedly helped to reach such a level of quality thanks to the PS4's jump in power over the PS3), a streamlined progression system and perhaps the most fluid combat animations you'll ever witness.
