Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - 14 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
You'll get 'em next time.
Against all odds - and in the face of a series that's been annualised for over a decade now - Infinity Ward have returned to the Call of Duty instalment that put them on the map... and made it better.
While the jury's out on whether this soft reboot's campaign is better than the seismic and endlessly influential one from 2007, MW 2019's multiplayer is something else. A refined juggernaut of bass-booming sound effects, pristine weapon handling and intricate maps that force you to rethink approaches, this year's COD is more a case of iterating where it matters most, but the results are staggeringly effective.
From moment one it feels like Infinity Ward want to plant their feet firmly in the ground with what Call of Duty even "is", after a half-decade of experimentation into futurescapes, sci-fi weaponry and hero shooter characters with superpowers.
Modern Warfare brings some of the angles game from Rainbow Six: Siege, a "Ground War" mode aiming to be a mini take on Battlefield, the ground-slides and momentum shifts of Titanfall, all wrapped in that signature COD gunplay that millions get completely lost in.
You'll be playing a LOT of this Modern Warfare reboot, and there's a ton to take in.
