Like Fortnite and other games of its ilk, Warzone's tense squad on squad encounters, dynamic map closures and large scale free-for-all warfare has cemented the mode as THE definitive way to pass the time. After all, aren't we all technically in the Gulag right now?

In these troubled and testing times, a win on Warzone can very quickly provide online clout amongst friends and family, yet coming out on top in even one match is easier said than done. With matches containing around 150 victory hungry parachutists, the likely chance of you becoming headshot fodder is enough to make even General Shepherd consider a turn towards pacifism.

Yet fret not, winless recruits, IW has recently implemented some vital tweaking to everyone's favourite genocidal sandbox, and this list aims to help you get acquainted with the new loadout of features.

From new weapon additions on the ground to important changes to circle speed, forewarned here is definitely forearmed. Just don't forget to plate up, yeah?

5. New Weapons And Camos

In a game all about demolishing your opponents with big boom-sticks, the only real improvement is to allow more big boom-sticks right from the off. And that's exactly what IW has brought with the new update. Look! They're all in new, shiny colours, too. Oooooh, aaaaaaah.

Right from when players drop, there'll now be a wider assortment of options to pick up, as potential Gulag inhabitants begin to make the difficult financial hike towards affording the blessed loadout drop.

Not only that, IW has added brand new weapons like the MK9 Bruen, an LMG perfect for shredding down your opponent's armour with its large clip size and high accuracy. You'll be spraying, and they'll be praying.

There's also the new pyromaniac bundle, which includes flaming throwing knives and an anarchic style skin for Krueger. The bundle, which also unlocks a weapon blueprint, can be gotten through the store. Best to keep this one away from children.

IW have additionally added a new camo to be unlocked for all weapons: Obsidian. Unlocked by getting 15 kills 150 times, this skin is for the pros. Or those with time and patience on their hands. Come on, it's not like there's anything better to do.
