E3 2018: 13 Insane Announcements That Could Actually Happen
These shockers just might happen.
The most exciting time of the year for gamers is very nearly upon us, with E3 - aka the "Super Bowl of Gaming" - due to kick off with EA's press conference on Saturday, June 9th.
Over the days that follow, Microsoft, Bethesda, Sony, Square Enix, Ubisoft and Nintendo will unveil the latest and greatest projects in gaming, while hopefully serving up some shockers to truly bring the house down.
Last year's E3 was sadly a bit of a disappointment in terms of roof-raising "megaton" reveals, which makes it decidedly more likely that 2018 is going to be a doozy for the ages.
Whether or not the conferences manage to deliver another "Year of Dreams" or not, these are the 13 insane, long-awaited, fantastical announcements which actually could happen. They're not especially likely, and some are certainly more optimistic than others, but don't be totally shocked if at least a couple of them turn out to be true.
With the current console generation entering its wind-up phase, the desire to finish strong is clear across the board, and now's the time to start throwing some stunning curve-balls...
