The many joys of a Bethesda game are found in the rich and dense world, packed with hundreds of places to visits, each one seeping with atmosphere and story. And that joy is displayed no better than in Fallout 4. One of the most tightly designed and interwoven maps crafted by Bethesda, it is simply joyous to explore, and takes countless hours to see it all.

10. Beantown Interiors

Bethesda

One of the more annoying aspects of Fallout 4 is the number of doors in the world that seem impenetrable, despite simply being wooden. Not to mention the task of determining whether or not you can interact with a door, or if it’s one of the mysterious un-operable ones the Commonwealth is plagued by. It can really distract from an area as you try to figure out which doors can be opened and which can’t.

Beantown Interiors is taking the steps towards improving that, by adding a whole host of new interiors found in the Commonwealth. Each interior is unique often with an interesting twist. Small little stories can be found tucked away in the buildings and often rare loot can be found buried within.

It makes a sizeable change to the world, despite only add some interiors, making exploration fresh and interesting - especially in an early game area - and adds a decent chunk of content to explore. And with exploration being Fallout 4’s strong spot, Beantown Interiors competes with base game buildings admirably, a necessary choice for any budding wasteland explorer in need of more bomb ravaged areas to explore.
