Until the day arrives when Bethesda start bringing official new content to Fallout 4 (hopefully at some point in 2016), gaming's favourite post-apocalyptic wasteland is going to thrive on another, very different kind of regular update - the modding community kind. Despite the image that may now be forming in your brain of some poorly coded, archaic features created by inexperienced hobbyists, Fallout 4's modding community is comprised of extremely talented (and somewhat weird) people that aim to improve your quality of life while traversing the remnants of Boston. That means more customisation, more building tools and generally more options across the board, but not all mods have to serve a higher purpose. No, some just exist because they can, usually with the sole intention of making you laugh in disbelief or flee in unbridled terror. I would specify which ones are which, but there's no need - you're going to know exactly what I'm talking about the deeper you go. Enjoy!
10. Pimp Your Power Armour
(Download it here) If you've ever had the feeling that your personal set of Power Armour needed an extra edge, this colourful mod is here to scratch that everlasting itch. The remedy is, of course, that your human-shaped tank just needs a little bit of colour to personalise its rusty and blood-encrusted shell. Whether you're the sort of person that likes to add flame decals to everything (because fire armour is always cool) or prefer the subtlety of some whitewashed pastel colours, modders have you covered. Oh, and you even get a swanky warehouse full of rigs to store your collection in. Forget about garages full of super cars, this is the post-apocalyptic alternative and it looks way cooler.
