Fallout 4: 10 New Mods That Make It Even Better (Jan 2016)

9. Companion Makeovers

(Download it here) Fallout 4's selection of companions are cool. Piper, Nick Valentine, Strong, Curie and many others; they're all colourful humans, robots and mutants respectively. But there's only so long you can put up with looking at the same face while out and about, taking whatever life is left post-nuclear apocalypse. After all, why should your AI-controlled allies not be able to go under the knife and get extensive makeovers when the player character can spend an afternoon in a shanty surgeon's operating room and emerge a few minutes later a new man (or woman)? Perhaps you want to give Piper the Mass Effect treatment and give her the extraterrestrial look with blue skin? MaCready's hair perhaps looking a little too shaggy for your tastes? Give it a trim. They may not be real people, but Fallout 4's companions deserve to look good when you're roping them into helping you save Boston from the scummy Institute.
