Fallout 4: 10 Things Fans Need

By Brandon Smith /

Fallout 4 is one of the most speculated about and anticipated games of this year and next. Since our last irradiated travels in the Mojave back in 2011, many fans have been clamouring for more. Bethesda has only endorsed one comment for the supposed game, which stated that resident DJ Three-Dog may return. This opened up a discussion for many things that people want for Fallout 4; some of the things are ridiculous, but many ideas are completely feasible for the game, which will most certainly launch for next-generation consoles within the next 18 months. Here are 10 ideas for what fans want in Fallout 4...

10. Bigger, Populated Maps

The last iteration of Fallout, New Vegas, was considered by many to be inferior to its predecessor, Fallout 3. A main reason for this is that the map size was too small, as well as the fact that there should be more people populating the Wastelands; this idea can be realised with next generation consoles and PCs. Bethesda could easily create double or triple the size of the Mojave Wastes with the hardware, and populate these bigger lands to boot. Now, some people might say, "The Wastelands are not supposed to be populated, hence the name", yet in Fallout: New Vegas, 204 years have passed since the Great War, so people must have repopulated in the Vaults. This should be evidenced in the games by having more people in the settlements that have popped up all over post-apocalyptic America. I expect there to be far more NPC's in the next Fallout game because of the increased hardware capabilities.
