Though some people will defend Fallout 4 to their last dying breath, the overall reception of the game has been a mixed bag, to say the least. Despite the games epic scope, many people have felt that its ambition has been squandered by too many little details that just werent handled as well as they should have been. From poor texturing and buggy gameplay to unexciting storytelling, Fallout 4 has received its fair share of criticisms, but luckily for us PC gamers, things can always be made better with the help of an avid mod community and the hard work of some dedicated individuals. This wont be much of a comfort to any of you console players reading this, but the PC version of Fallout 4 can actually be drastically improved with the help of just a handful of excellent fan made mods. These mods range from small cosmetic enhancements and graphical improvements to substantial gameplay overhauls, but the one thing they all have in common is that they help make the game a more enjoyable experience. Theres a lot wrong with Bethesdas latest post-apocalyptic outing, but just because something is broken doesnt mean it cant be mended. Here are 12 mods that drastically improve the look and feel of Fallout 4
12. Full Dialogue Interface
(Link to Download) One of the most common complaints about Fallout 4 is that the dialogue options simply dont represent what your character will actually say. This can be a big problem for those of us who actually enjoy the roleplaying aspect to our roleplaying games, especially considering the sheer ambiguity of some of the options that pop up on the dialogue wheel ("Sarcasm", anyone?) For this reason, the Full Dialogue Interface mod created by Cirosan and Shadwar is a welcomed addition to the game, expanding dialogue options and presenting them in the form of a list that can be navigated in a similar way to the dialogue options from Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. As someone who absolutely hated the way in which dialogue was handled in Fallout 4, this mod is a must.
