GTA 6: THIS Is The Perfect Setting

Where should Rockstar's franchise venture next?

Grand Theft Auto VI is coming. We're still not sure when, with some rumours suggesting 2023 while others indicating it could be even later. Hell, with the news that GTA V is getting a remaster (a re-remaster?) in time for the PS5 launch, everything we thought we knew about the release date might be totally wrong.

Still, we have made plenty of videos speculating over when the hotly anticipated sequel is coming, but today I want to dig into the second most asked question following "when the hell is it coming out?" That being: "what's the setting going to be?"

It's an understandable question, after all you could argue that a GTA game is only as good as its setting. Would Vice City be as memorable without its fictional 80s-inspired take on Miami, or GTA V's sun-kissed anarchy be as farcical set anywhere other than the glitz and glam of Los Santos? The answer is a resounding no.

At this point, GTA cities have become iconic in and of themselves, and there's a reason the past main games have continued to revisit and reimagine old favourites rather than tackle brand new places.

With that in mind then, I think I've cracked the perfect GTA setting for the next game: all of the GTA settings combined.
